Tips and Tricks:

Ideal for larger mesh canvas as it provides terrific coverage and you don't need to use a laying tool.

Cut thread length to 18" and keep a shorter (2" tail) as you stitch. Needles have punched eyes that can be rough and damage your thread as you stitch.  The shorter tail minimizes the needle traveling up and down your thread to help you avoid fraying the thread.

If you are stitching a piece, like a belt or clutch, we don't recommend this thread as it has a tendency to pill.

Can be used on 18 mesh with proper stitch tension.  Use shorter thread lengths so the thread doesn't become fuzzy.  Some stitchers feel the thread is too bulky to basketweave on 18 mesh canvas.  Recommend using longer decorative stitches on 18 mesh canvas.

Recommended Use:

13 mesh use one strand

18 mesh use one strand
