Sampler Threads (0970 and up)

The difference between the Sampler Threads and the Shakers is the way they are dyed. Both threads are a colorfast, hand-dyed 6 ply cotton fiber, however, the Sampler threads will typically be more variegated. They tend to have a broader range of color (more highs and lows)

The Shaker threads are more muted. With the exception of a few colors, the Shakers are less variegated and they typically will be more muted and have more subtle tones (more mid-range tones).

Our threads are exciting and fun to stitch with and give your needlework a faded, antiqued look. Your needlework projects stitched with “SAMPLER THREADS™” will never be a carbon copy of everyone else’s because each skein is unique in itself.
