Tips and Tricks: 

Use a larger needle than normal to enlarge the hole in the canvas.  Come straight up and down through the canvas.  Avoid dragging the thread so that it doesn’t catch and pull. 

Flair has a tendency to unravel and catch in your stithing. Try cutting at a diagonal to reduce fraying.   A small amount of Fray Check or clear nail polish will help reduce the unraveling of the thread. Remember to let it dry thoroughly.

Great for clouds via a ruching technique.

Another idea is filling the tube with beads or another thread color to add interest to your work.

Recommended Use:

18 mesh use a laying tool to eliminate twistng the thread for long stitches.  Not recommended to use with small stitches.

13 mesh use one strand for all desired stitches using a laying tool.
