Mono Canvas - 14 Count

Mono canvas is the best quality and strongest type of canvas. 

It has an over and under weave at each intersection.  This enables the canvas to be flexible as well as be long wearing.  It also means that the canvas threads can “unweave” at the edges.  Best used for rectangular work with secured edges. 

Tip:  Tape the edges of the canvas to thward the tendancy to unweave.

The Zweigart Company was founded in Germany in 1877 and continues production in Germany today.  Their mono canvas is made of 100% cotton.

Available in black, brown, eggshell and white.
