Fiber Details:

• A single ply, fine, sparkly metallic thread in 126 colors.
• 70% Polyamide / 30% Metallic Polyester
• Known as a blending filament, when used in the same needle with other fibers
• Each spool is marked with the color number and name of the thread

Tips and Tricks: 

Managing this thread on a spool. The thread is wrapped around several times in a small groove at either end of the spool.  You can gently pull up on the end and the grip of the groove will loosen. Unwind the length of thread that you desire, cut it.  Take the loose end on the spool and wrap it around the spool's small groove several times. Push down on the end to lock in the thread for storage. This will secure your thread so it does not unravel.

Recommended Use:

18 mesh use multiple strands or blend with other fibers.  Single strand will showcase the painted canvas colors and add sparkle to your work.  When used alone, it has a transparent look to it, making it perfect for lighted windows and doors, for stars, for snowflakes, for anywhere you want a light sparkly cover in your stitching.

13 mesh not recommended for use by itself. Can blend with fibers designated for 13 mesh canvases.
