Fireside Through the Years
The Beginning
Fireside Stitchery started out as a mail order business run by Judy Bartolini and her daughter Maria. The first space occupied by the business was the second floor of a house in Paoli, PA, where the catalog was produced and inventory was kept.
Moving Up
Six years in, the business outgrew the house in Paoli and it was decided that a retail space would be opened. The first brick and mortar Fireside store was in a shopping center in Frazer, PA. The grand opening for that space was in August of 1996.
Present and Future
After a while, Fireside moved to its current location in Malvern, PA. In 2023 the store was purchased by Lynn Upchurch. We are committed to keeping the original integrity of Fireside intact, while bringing it into the future and introducing a new generation to stitching.
